Born in England, Peter Appleyard later moved to Canada and toured extensively with the Benny Goodman Sextet for many years and worked with other superstars like Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Tony Bennett or Frank Sinatra, and is one of the world's top vibraphonists. Appleyard's swinging musical style is inspired mainly by Lionel Hampton and he always enthuses his audience with his virtuosity, humour and spirit!
