Scott Hamilton is the premier mainstream saxophonist of today. He moved to New York in 1976, and through Roy Eldridge, got a six-week gig. Roy also paved the way for him to work with Anita O’Day and Hank Jones. Scott got to work with and learn from people like Illinois Jacquet, Jo Jones, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Flip Phillips, Maxine Sullivan, Buddy Tate, Jeff Hamilton and many more. It is no wonder that Scott Hamilton is in demand the world over.
