Sophie Alloway is one of the most sought-after drummers on the London scene. Whether jazz, pop, fusion or soul – her versatility and musical precision have made her the first choice for many well-known band leaders. She has played in bands such as Royal Family, toured with Roots Manuva and Chihiro Yamanaka, and was part of the successful fusion act Lydian Collective for many years.
Sophie is at home on renowned stages and in legendary studios such as Abbey Road. Her credits range from Later with Jools Holland to the Glastonbury Festival and BBC programmes such as Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2024. With her powerful yet tasteful playing, she brings every stage to life.
